We're just back from a fun family reunion in Las Vegas! Good food, lots of laughs, and a thinner wallet, as usual. R's dad is #8 of 9 kids, and R is the youngest of 26 grandkids, so you could say that only a few of us gathered together. We've been to every reunion since 1994.

One of the highlights: watching the Cubs beat the Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLCS with our Chicago family! Miggy Montero with the grand slam, baby!
Oh, and the minus one? We left M at home by himself (!) this weekend because he had a competition with his high school marching band yesterday. He survived (as did Mom), and the house didn't burn down. He was bummed to miss seeing family, but hopefully performing at Disneyland today made up for it a little!
