Coasterholics

Any summer trip to Chicagoland would not be complete without a trek to Six Flags Great America. We're definitely putting our season passes to good use! Today we picked up two more adrenaline junkies. M and J had a great time hanging out with their cousins K and D, one from each side of R's extended family!

Because we have a Discover Card, we got early entry into the park. So the kids headed straight for the newest coaster, Goliath. It gets an 8 on the Saiki-delic Awesomeness scale. Here are the individual scores from our reviewers:  M = 7, J = 8, D = 9, and K = 8.

As official bag watcher, I was really thankful that the weather was on the cooler side. And, as usual, R bumped into a few people that we know - one was a friend from our college days, and the other was the high school-aged daughter of our good friends. How does he do it?!

A fun day with the family! Here's a video of one of the non-coaster rides, King Chaos. The four of them are front and center. And, in case you were wondering, that loud yelling you hear would be M...
